Hello! I’m Kseniya Savicka, and I am an aspiring children's book illustrator and educator from Latvia, now based in Birmingham. I completed my BA in Illustration at the University of the Arts London in 2024, and I now work in post-16 art education. I love to create delicate, whimsical imagery while exploring the nuances of being human. I’m drawn to rich, earthy tones and textures, creating pieces that feel like a warm memory you can’t quite place.
Working mostly with watercolour and digital media, I find inspiration in everyday moments as well as deeper philosophical concepts. I am fascinated by quiet landscapes and believe that stillness holds a myriad of narratives.
When I’m not drawing, you’ll find me writing stories and playing around with analogue photography, all which continuously fuel my creative practice.
